Taking light installations by James Turrell  as a base, I superimposed my own work on top, implanting the Four Elements. Earth, air, fire, and water. The elemental theme seemed appropriate for an exhibition that was sponsored by the giant reinsurer Munich Re, whose business depends so heavily on weather conditions. The different effects were achieved by manipulation of the colour processing method, for example, overexposing the image to represent air.
